Have you ever wondered if it is possible to Lock Folder using Notepad?

Well yes it is possible to Lock Folder Without Any Software. This method works fine in Xp/Vista and hopefully upper versions of windows.

Please don't use this method if you are unsure what you are doing, I am not responsible for any damage caused by use of this, though it won't occur if you follow my steps correctly.

Here we start:

Open Notepad from your Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Notepad

Step 1. Copy and Paste the below code in Notepad and Save it as FolderLock.bat

Code:
cls
@ECHO OFF
title Folder Locker
if EXIST "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" goto UNLOCK
if NOT EXIST Locker goto MDLOCKER
:CONFIRM
echo Are you sure u want to Lock the folder(Y/N)
set/p "cho=>"
if %cho%==Y goto LOCK
if %cho%==y goto LOCK
if %cho%==n goto END
if %cho%==N goto END
echo Invalid choice.
goto CONFIRM
:LOCK
ren Locker "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
attrib +h +s "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
echo Folder locked
goto End
:UNLOCK
echo Enter password to Unlock folder
set/p "pass=>"
if NOT %pass%==type your password here goto FAIL
attrib -h -s "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
ren "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" Locker
echo Folder Unlocked successfully
goto End
:FAIL
echo Invalid password
goto end
:MDLOCKER
md Locker
echo Locker created successfully
goto End
:End

Now save this notepad file as FolderLock.bat

Step 2 :- Now Double Click that new Batch file named FolderLock and it will make a new folder named Locker in the same location:

[Image: folderlock2.jpg]

Now put the Data Inside the folder Locker and again Double Click the Batch file to Lock it, this will give you a prompt, just Type y and press Enter: , File get locked

Now keep the Batch File named FolderLock.bat in a different place like your USB Pen Drive so that only you can access the Folder you have locked.

To Unlock the Folder just double click the Batch file again and type y and press Enter.

Top 15 Security/Hacking Tools & Utilities

Top 15 Security/Hacking Tools & Utilities
1. Nmap
I think everyone has heard of this one, recently evolved into the 4.x series.

Nmap (“Network Mapper”) is a free open source utility for network exploration or security auditing. It was designed to rapidly scan large networks, although it works fine against single hosts. Nmap uses raw IP packets in novel ways to determine what hosts are available on the network, what services (application name and version) those hosts are offering, what operating systems (and OS versions) they are running, what type of packet filters/firewalls are in use, and dozens of other characteristics. Nmap runs on most types of computers and both console and graphical versions are available. Nmap is free and open source.

Can be used by beginners (-sT) or by pros alike (–packet_trace). A very versatile tool, once you fully understand the results.

Get Nmap Here -
http://www.insecure.org/nmap/download.html -

2. Nessus Remote Security Scanner
Recently went closed source, but is still essentially free. Works with a client-server framework.

Nessus is the world’s most popular vulnerability scanner used in over 75,000 organizations world-wide. Many of the world’s largest organizations are realizing significant cost savings by using Nessus to audit business-critical enterprise devices and applications.

Get Nessus Here -

3. John the Ripper
Yes, JTR 1.7 was recently released!

John the Ripper is a fast password cracker, currently available for many flavors of Unix (11 are officially supported, not counting different architectures), DOS, Win32, BeOS, and OpenVMS. Its primary purpose is to detect weak Unix passwords. Besides several crypt(3) password hash types most commonly found on various Unix flavors, supported out of the box are Kerberos AFS and Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 LM hashes, plus several more with contributed patches.

You can get JTR Here -

4. Nikto
Nikto is an Open Source (GPL) web server scanner which performs comprehensive tests against web servers for multiple items, including over 3200 potentially dangerous files/CGIs, versions on over 625 servers, and version specific problems on over 230 servers. Scan items and plugins are frequently updated and can be automatically updated (if desired).

Nikto is a good CGI scanner, there are some other tools that go well with Nikto (focus on http fingerprinting or Google hacking/info gathering etc, another article for just those).

Get Nikto Here -
http://www.cirt.net/code/nikto.shtml -

5. SuperScan
Powerful TCP port scanner, pinger, resolver. SuperScan 4 is an update of the highly popular Windows port scanning tool, SuperScan.

If you need an alternative for nmap on Windows with a decent interface, I suggest you check this out, it’s pretty nice.

Get SuperScan Here -

6. p0f
P0f v2 is a versatile passive OS fingerprinting tool. P0f can identify the operating system on:

– machines that connect to your box (SYN mode),
– machines you connect to (SYN+ACK mode),
– machine you cannot connect to (RST+ mode),
– machines whose communications you can observe.

Basically it can fingerprint anything, just by listening, it doesn’t make ANY active connections to the target machine.

7. Wireshark (Formely Ethereal)
Wireshark is a GTK+-based network protocol analyzer, or sniffer, that lets you capture and interactively browse the contents of network frames. The goal of the project is to create a commercial-quality analyzer for Unix and to give Wireshark features that are missing from closed-source sniffers.

Works great on both Linux and Windows (with a GUI), easy to use and can reconstruct TCP/IP Streams! Will do a tutorial on Wireshark later.

Get Wireshark Here -

8. Yersinia
Yersinia is a network tool designed to take advantage of some weakeness in different Layer 2 protocols. It pretends to be a solid framework for analyzing and testing the deployed networks and systems. Currently, the following network protocols are implemented: Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP), Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), IEEE 802.1q, Inter-Switch Link Protocol (ISL), VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP).

The best Layer 2 kit there is.

12. Cain and Abel
My personal favourite for password cracking of any kind.

Cain & Abel is a password recovery tool for Microsoft Operating Systems. It allows easy recovery of various kind of passwords by sniffing the network, cracking encrypted passwords using Dictionary, Brute-Force and Cryptanalysis attacks, recording VoIP conversations, decoding scrambled passwords, revealing password boxes, uncovering cached passwords and analyzing routing protocols. The program does not exploit any software vulnerabilities or bugs that could not be fixed with little effort.

14. NetStumbler[/b]
Yes a decent wireless tool for Windows! Sadly not as powerful as it’s Linux counterparts, but it’s easy to use and has a nice interface, good for the basics of war-driving.

NetStumbler is a tool for Windows that allows you to detect Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) using 802.11b, 802.11a and 802.11g. It has many uses:

* Verify that your network is set up the way you intended.
* Find locations with poor coverage in your WLAN.
* Detect other networks that may be causing interference on your network.
* Detect unauthorized “rogue” access points in your workplace.
* Help aim directional antennas for long-haul WLAN links.
* Use it recreationally for WarDriving.

Get NetStumbler Here -

How to hack a computer with an IP!

Hello everybody! I am here to show you this magical tool called Metasploit that allows you to hack ANY unpatched computer with only it's IP. Lets begin...

1.) First you need to download Metasploit. The most up-to-date version is FREE at metasploit.com.

2.) You need PostgrSQL for your database. Download here:
http://www.postgresql.org/. Make sure you use all the defaults or Metasploit woun't work!

3.) Now lets get down to buisness... After installing both tools, open up the PostgrSQL admin gui (start -> all programs -> PostgreSQL 9.0 -> pgAdmin III). Then right-click on your server (in the left hand box) and click connect. Remember to keep this window open the whole time. You will also need the pass you chose to use in step 5...

[Image: pgadmin.bmp]

4.) Time for some hacking! Go to start -> all programs -> Metasploit Framework, and then open the Metasploit gui. Let it load untill it look like this:

[Image: metasploit.bmp]

5.)Now, in the window type:

db_connect postgres:ThePassYouChose@localhost:5432

The first time you do this you will see lots of text flash buy. Don't wory, this is normal.

6.)Type db_host to make sure you are connected correctally.

7.)Now type this:

db_nmap
000.000.000.000

Make sure you put the ip of the computer you are trying to hack in the place of 000.000.000.000...

7.) Now we get to the fun part; the automatic exploitation. Just type db_autopwn -t -p -e -s -b , watch the auto-exploitation start, go play Halo for a while, and then come back...

8.) After the exploitation is done, type sessions -l to see what the scanner found. If all went well, you should see a list of exploits.

9.) Now we get to use the exploits to hack the computer! If you will notice, all of the exploits are numbered, and they all have obvious names (i. e., reverseScreen_tcp). In order to use an exploit, type this:

sessions -i ExploitNumber

___________________________________________________________

The features of Metasploit are mutch like a rat. Once you get into someone's computer, you can see their screen, controll their mouse, see what they type, see them, etc.

Happy hacking! Hehe

Encrypted Email>FREE... 5 Ways to learn to have a encrypted email!

So let’s begin: I don’t know whether the Big Brother watches us or not but I know that some guys know how to read stuff that go on the Web. E-mails are used everywhere and almost everyone nowadays has an account. Those e-mails are quite often transmitted as plain text so they’re easily readable. So why don’t we keep our information for ourselves and crypt our emails?
Here’s a quick list on how to do it:

1) HushMail --> it’s one of the most popular. You sign up and you get an account you can send encrypted e-mails from. If the recipient hasn’t an HushMail account it will be asked to respond a secret question you decided. If the answer is correct then he/she will be able to read the email.
2) Enigmail --> it's a free extension to the email client Mozilla Thunderbird. In this case you have to install it and select “encrypt this message” in the writing box. Obviously it’s not necessary to sign up for a new account, you use the one you have already.
3) Lockbin --> it's an online service you can send encrypted emails from. Just click "Start Now" to start composing a new message, and then set a password to protect it. The recipient will receive an email from Lockbin in which he/she will find a link that leads to a Lockbin HTTPS page. In this page he/she will have to type in the password to get the email.
4) Encipher.it --> it's the most quick and simple system that protects emails with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). It’s a bookmarklet and requires the recipient to have it too.
5) Last but not the least: send a .txt or .doc file in a ZIP/RAR password protected archive as an attachment.
